About

Georgina M. Cox is a digital painter based in St. Neots, UK, whose practice explores the intersection of perception, materiality, and emotional presence. She holds a BA (Hons) First Class in Fine Art from Cambridge School of Art, and while her technical development is largely self-taught, her work has gained significant international momentum.

Her practice is defined by a desire to emulate the physicality of oil through digital tools—challenging traditional boundaries to create work that feels tactile and illusionary. Blending influences from Baroque and Romanticist painting with contemporary themes, Georgina explores the duality of femininity: shifting between beauty and discomfort, performance and stillness.

Her career is marked by several key distinctions, including being awarded Best in Digital Art by the Circle Foundation for the Arts and having her work featured in Arts to Hearts’ Floral Magazine. Expanding her international reach, she is currently exhibiting her piece Deer Logic at the 2026 Venice International Art Fair in collaboration with ITSLIQUID Group. Across her collections, she continues to engage with the phenomenological response of the viewer, creating "digital images that don't look digital at all"—inviting longer looking, second-guessing, and a deep emotional recognition.
