Mirrorbox V2 (2025)

This second iteration of Mirrorbox explores identity distortion through a bolder, more experimental visual language. The cover’s warped portrait—fragmented and folding in on itself—symbolises the recursive collapse of self central to the novel’s narrative.

Electric cyan and magenta gradients replace the muted horror palette of Version I, creating a dissonant tension between vibrancy and unease. The typography elongates and distorts, visually echoing the concept of simulation breakdown.

By shifting from subdued realism to surreal abstraction, this design captures Mirrorbox’s evolution from psychological horror to something more speculative—where technology, memory, and madness blur into one mirrored continuum.
