Meat For The Gods (Original)
Exhibited & Shortlisted for the Supanee Gazely Fine Art Prize (2025)
“Meat for the Gods” (2025) is an altar, a warning, and a monument to ritualised consumption. This large-scale centrepiece was the focal point of its exhibition — a monumental depiction of vulnerability, death, and divine hunger. Figures lie scattered in varying states of decay and ecstasy, their flesh arranged like offerings before a god who does not answer.
Printed on Portobello canvas, the painting mimics oil in tone and depth, with a soft matte texture that gives the bodies a near-sacred tactility. This piece was shortlisted for the Supanee Gazeley Fine Art Prize.
This is the only print in existence.
