Leak (Original)
Exhibited & Shortlisted for the Supanee Gazely Fine Art Prize (2025)
“Leak” (2025) is a portrait of pressure ruptured. A woman stares directly out, her expression wide with something between panic and numbness, as a thick, black substance floods from her mouth. It isn’t blood. It isn’t bile. It’s everything she was never allowed to say.
The simplicity of the composition — her gaze, the void — makes it all the more confrontational. Printed on raw wood, the tones are warm, yet the act feels cold. Controlled. Unrelenting.
Exhibited publicly and shortlisted for the Supanee Gazely Fine Art Prize, this is a one-of-a-kind piece. No reprints will be made.
