“Growing Pains” (2025) visualises the agony of transformation. A lone figure arches forward, mid-crawl, as black tendrils tear from her spine — writhing, blooming, becoming. It's about evolution that hurts. Growth that isn’t gentle. Change that doesn’t ask permission.

The muted palette and delicate folds of fabric echo classical painting traditions, while the eruption of dark, organic forms pulls the piece into the surreal. Printed on raw wood, the texture adds an earthy realism to the impossible.
